Hi friends, just wanted to correct something - thanks for bringing it to my attention Joel!
The irrigation system was not funded by CSPC money. We were introduced to the clean water well and the irrigation system back to back, and we were told and knew that the clean water well was CSPC funded and had assumed that the irrigation system was the same (as CSPC adopted Mucatine, has provided significant funding and the irrigation system is there). Anyway, it seems that it's just another example of poor journalism - perhaps I should be lumped in with that guy from the NYTimes! Fortunately, the trip is done today, and I can't be fired :) At any rate, opefully all could see the concept of agricultural development in strengthening the local church.
