Heading to the 9th

Yes friends, we are in the final inning of our journey and are looking forward to heading back home soon. The time here has been truly incredible - so impressive, disturbing, eye-opening, and confusing. We've heard about so many different ministries and good work that is going on that we are honestly emotionally exhausted in many ways. One wants to partner with all of them, but you can't do that and be much of a partner!
As for the pic, these kids greeted us on the way to the village when we stopped to buy passion fruit. They've either never seen a camera before or they think we are really weird! They relaxed alot after they saw their picture and laughed at each other, especially dogging the kid in the white shirt. So, we have 2-3 more meetings on Monday and Tuesday and are in the process of writing the report. The video is my first shot at reporting for NBC nightly news :) Let's just say I need to work a bit on reporting and Emily could use a bit more stable hand, but it should give you a bit of insight as to the irrigation project that CSPC has embarked upon over the past year.

Move over Brian Williams!! Great reporting bro. Really gave a great window into what you are doing and how Cedar Springs is making an impact. Can't wait to hear more details when you return.

Sorry Stevie, Peter Jackson just called and booked me for the next year, and James Cameron is offering $5 mil for a piece in 2009 :)

spencer, dont get so caught up in stardom that you forget the people (ie, emily) who made you what you are. maybe you could negotiate a mega deal with spielberg to include the stellar cameragal. plus, she's redhot, so she might steal some of the shots herself ;o)

Spencer,

I would like to offer you a one-time offer of a free speech-giving seminar free of charge and also free. Did I mention it won't cost ya anything?

Glad y'all are still alive. Give us a call when you get back.

Wallace, thanks for the encouragement - perhaps you can show me how to speak coherently and tell me not to hike up my pants for the next video (what was I doing??)
