in Mozambique!

We arrived in Mozambique yesterday on a flight from Johannesburg, South Africa. Right now we're staying with a South African businessman and his family in the capital city, Maputo. Maputo is worlds away from South Africa. Though the city has grown tremendously in the past 2 years, it still feels very much like an old rundown city/town in the 3rd world. Very dirty, very makeshift markets set up along the street selling shoes/live chickens/stacks of clothes all mixed in together. Today's agenda is to meet with several local pastors, interviewing them and hearing about their lives, ministries, and the state of the church here. Please pray for this weekend as we meet with them and visit their churches. Hopefully we'll be able to post a picture next time!
