I love my sweet Kaitlyn to death. She is so full of passion, creativity, love, spunk, and fire. She's had opinions on what clothes she wears since before she turned 1, and took sleep training to a whole new level. so we knew we had a fiesty, stubborn girl on our hands from very early on. Even from birth her highs were so high, and her lows were so dramatic, but her sweetness and sensitivity are also amazing to us. Lately she's been protesting sleep at night. This is tricky since all 3 of ours share a room. We've tried so many different ways to get her to comply and are learning that no matter how badly we want everything to go smoothly at night, it probably won't, and that's ok. Kids were never meant to be convenient to parents...bring us joy? yes, make us more holy? yes, teach us to pray? yes, but never to make life easier :-) we're learning to love and celebrate her in even new ways and we're being stretched in wisdom and creativity.
On the other side, she's growing so much in learning how to love her siblings and her friends. She started dance last week and it's the cutest thing I've seen in a while. A class full of sweet friends...what could be better? I can't believe she turns 4 in a month!
with Zoe, who's lived with us for the summer.
a tea party after a week of working on the letter T...this week is I so you know what that means for friday!
love that Aimee's purse is a green jack-o-lantern :-)
