chickens!

We got our chickens! Actually, they are't ours, but we are keeping them for a friend while they get registered (I worked on getting our registration this winter). We love them and they have been such a fun addition to the family. The kids have really gotten into feeding them, chasing them, and just watching them. Jester barks at them, rattles their gate, and has super high anxiety, but he's actually gotten into their space twice now and not known what to do either time. I'm starting to think that maybe he wouldn't hurt them? Maybe we'll try it out this weekend while Spencer's home. I love going out to gather their eggs (about 3 a day) and I love having something to do with our leftover food besides throw it away. I think we're sold!
