sick girl

Kaitlyn has croup :-( She actually seems to be fine today but gave us scare last night when she woke up coughing and couldn't catch her breath. I spent the night with her at the ER where they gave her steriods and a breathing treatment. I'm praying this new virus doesn't spread to the rest of us...we've all already been sick for almost 2 weeks! Even in sickness, though, she's a happy, sweet girl. She slept most of the time at the ER and has taken good naps today. In the midst of our sickness this past week she has also started taking some steps! Only a few here and there, but she's getting bolder with it. My friend Paige took this picture at a birthday party last weekend...Kaitlyn loves being around other kids! She and her buddy Olivia ( 3 days older) got to sit at the "big" kid table for supper and Kaitlyn thought she was hot stuff...it made her so happy :-)
on another note, our musical dog seems to have come off of his singing hiatus...see for yourself :-)
