the beach

we had a great week at the beach with my family. here are a few snapshots...

one benefit of lack of sleep over the week...I got to see the sunrise several mornings (vacations with kids don't exactly leave you feeling rested :-)

We all had a great time, but it was also good to get back home. It was fun to see how excited Andrew was to be back at our house. He ran in the door with a big smile on his face and quickly spotted the spray bottle that I let him clean with on the coffee table. He ran over to it yelling, "i need a rag!" and started furiously squirting the couch. Oh the things that mark "home" for kids :-) He then ran through the house saying "We're home! We're home!"

It made getting back into the swing of things a little easier this morning!
