with the Halls

we made it to Knoxville and are slowly making the adjustment to new surroundings.

It's always hard to leave a place, especially one where your community is so strong, but we're trusting God for fellowship this summer (especially for Emily and Andrew while Spencer goes to work!). We are so thankful for the opportunity to be here, even though transition is always a little hard. Andrew is doing well and learning lots! We went to storytime at the library this morning and he was pretty captivated by the man reading the story. He never shows much emotion when we first get to a new place with new people....he just watches and observes until he starts feeling comfortable enough to smile and interact. So he stared the storyteller down and then tried to eat the rattle they passed out for music time. After it was over he warmed up and had a great time!
