This picture is from a surprise party that my class gave me this year for my birthday. The big pink thing on the cake is a rose/torch that played happy birthday. In fact, we couldn't get it to stop playing happy birthday so one of the guys had to break it. They convinced me to leave the classroom in a very clever way and then set it all up for me and started singing when I came back in. It was a very special day for me and I'm blessed to have such special students.
